1. What made you decide to become a teacher?
As a little girl, I always played "teacher" especially being an only child. However, growing up I wanted to be a pediatrician or go into neonatal nursing. Luckily, I realized very early on that nursing was not for me. My friend was finishing up her teaching practicum and suggested I go observe a classroom. Needless to say, I ended up loving it. I am so happy that I listened to her advice and followed God's direction in my life because I love teaching!
2. What has been your most rewarding experience as a teacher?
I teach kindergarten so most of my students do not know how to read and write. Therefore, getting them to read and write is probably the most rewarding experience. I just love seeing them become independent and doing their own thing without my help. They love being 1st graders in training!
3. If you were not a teacher, what would you be?
Many people don't know this about me but I LOVE anything that has to do with fashion. I would love to work at a fashion magazine or something related.
Well have a good night...I only have 7 more days!!!!! I think I can...I think I can....
