My First Blog Nomination!

Hey everyone,

I am feeling the love this week from fellow bloggers! I got a sweet comment (earlier last week) from Jenna over at The Fashionista Teacher to let me know that she would be nominating me (well my blog) for the Liebster Award! The Liebster Award is given to newer blogs and have less than 200 followers .Going back to The Fashionista Teacher she has the trendiest blog. Just love so please check out her blog!

Then I also got an e-mail from Lola from Preschool Wonders and she said that she was nominating me too! (Feeling the love!) I didn't know what to say! How sweet!!! She has the cutest blog so please go check it out! It is wonderful! 

So what is a girl to do! I am going to answer both of their questions so bare with me!

1. What is your favorite thing about yourself?
That I am a hard worker. My parents have always taught me the value of being a hard worker!
 

  2. What is your favorite place to shop? 

My absolute favorite store is Forever 21. I always find cute things and for a reasonable price but I still love these other stores....The Loft, Francesca's, New York and Company

  

3. Where would your dream wedding be?

Antigua!!!! We went to Antigua for our honeymoon (Sandals) and it was amazing! I would love to renew my vows there!

4.  Why did you start your blog?
I just kept stalking reading so many blogs that I thought it would be fun to have my own blog and share my teaching world! No teaching world/classroom is the same!

5. What is your favorite blog (besides mine)?
I love so many but I find myself always checking Amy Lemons @ Step into 2nd Grade

 She is so funny! 

 6. Do you have a special talent?
Lol! Being super organized!
 
7. What is the last book you read?
When in Doubt, Add Butter by Beth Harbison. It was a good summer read!

8. What's the number one most played song on your itunes?

I don't have one! :-( I love music but I get bored so I love having a playlist!

9. What do you miss most about being a kid?

Not having to worry about anything and playing with dolls! LOL!

10. What chore do you hate the most?

I HATE to cook! It is just starting dinner but as soon as I start I enjoy doing it! It is a love-hate relationship.

11. What is your favorite time of day/day of the week/month of the year? 

I love the mornings especially Friday mornings. My favorite month is June because that's when it is my birthday!

Lola's 11 Questions for Me:
1. What's the most exciting thing you have ever done?
Going helmet diving in St. Thomas during one of our cruise vacations. I was so scared but it was awesome!!!

2. If you could learn one new thing easily, what would you choose?

How to draw! I can't draw to save my life! Some of my kindergartners draw better than me! Lol!

3. Sweet or Salty?

SALTY!!!!!

4. What do you like to do in your free time?

 I LOVE to read!!!!!

5. What was the last good book you read for fun?

Ladies' Night by Mary Kay Andrews

6. Where is your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere tropical!!! (Just got back from Punta Cana!) Beautiful!

7. What is your favorite season?

Fall!!! I love wearing boots, sweaters, and scarfs!!!!

8. What is your favorite beverage?

I love Coca-Cola! It's the best!

9. What is your favorite T.V. show?

Oh this is hard! I have so many....Revenge, Scandal, Parks and Recreation, etc...

10. What is your favorite childhood memory?

I would have to say playing with my Barbies and Cabbage Patch Kids dolls.

11. What is one thing one your bucket list?

To go to Paris! I can't wait!!!

11 Random Facts About Me:

1. I am an only child on my mom's side but on my dad's side I have a beautiful sister and handsome brother who will be a high school senior! Yikes!

 

2. I speak Spanish!

3. I lead two different book clubs!

4. I have been teaching for six years and they have all been in the same school!

5. I was my high school's Valedictorian!

6. I am a Christian! 

7. I am super shy and HATE being the center of attention!

8. I am a perfectionist but I am trying to change...but it is so hard. Lol!

9. I think I have a TV addiction! I love watching TV. What is a girl to do over the summer especially after having surgery????

10. My hubby and I have known each other since we were 12 but didn't start going out until high school.
